Amur's Revenge.

a while back a friend posted this NPR story about this Amur tiger in Russia. it seems a local paocher was hunting in the woods and basically shot the tiger and took his food. messed up right? well, over the course of the following 24 hours or so, that same tiger had a plot and scheme to exact his revenge. he kept the scent of this hunter and followed back to the hunter's cabin. made his way insiede and tore the place up...

and then waited.

until the hunter returned. and straight bodied this dude. and then, apparently, said "fuck it" and ate him up a bit. it was noted that the eating wasn't the tiger's motive, but merely an after thought. how DOPE is that!? i mean to really piss off a tiger and have it come look FOR YOU. such a super rare case and a wonder of nature and animal study. i couldn't help but draw this tiger (the ref photo is not the same tiger, but same species). this was an all digital piece and was mad inspiring for me. i love animals and nature and don't really care for hunting or fishing. i believe it is a wonderful skill to have, but to hunt or fish for sport is pointless to me. anywho, enjoi the illustration, i had a lot of fun creating it!

if enough interest is generated, i will do a SMALL run of these complete with additional hand-crafted splatter for extra one-of-a-kind flavor.
