break time illustration and color. each about 15-20 minutes. fictional character, just used a stock photo online for ref and made changes i wanted. it sucks not having all my pens and markers here, i hated having to vary my lines with only two markers. i wish i could bring all my inks and markers to my day job for these but it just isn't possible. i'm too messy and forgetful i'd probably leave a crucial tool behind and need it @ home that night...
i'm not one for these fast colors but limited time so i did what i can. not a fan of the soft colors like airbursh, particularly cuz im not great @ it lol. we can't all be Steigerwalds, feel me!! lol. i like flatter colors and some soft highlights maybe but again, i'm not so great with these comic-style colors. and it feels weird coloring funky digitally the way i do like on canvas when i paint or something.
