Oddities In Space.
i put in WORK last night lol. man last night i came home really frustrated from the day. a bit defeated even. after i started laying inks down and turning the music up (De La Soul and Brother Ali were my soundtracks) i had some really good vibes goin and i started to forget and started to relax...i had made the decision to work in only the blacks and new blue ink so i had lots of time to experiment and play. by the time the frog one came about i really started to come into the ink (ok that sounded dirty). i started playing with it in water too (more dirtiness. dammit! lol). overall i had lots of fun trying to see what this ink is capable of.
the first one i actually had a real minimal/light sketch for that i did earlier in the day on break. then just went nuts with the inks. i haven't picked up a pencil in a loooong time, lately i have been doing ink straight to paper. so it was hardly even a sketch, i didn't even want to use the pencil lol. the second happened to look like someone i used to know. had no intentions of drawing her but i guess it happens sometimes. the last i used an online friend who is mad sexy and just made some changes including giving her that dope ass shirt lol. i'll probably do a tighter rendition later or like a full on painting.
