last painting from last night's stomping, i wanted to give it its own post. i used a photo of someone i worked with over the weekend to make this one cuz i liked the way her hair looked in the photo. i used a lot of washes for this, mostly acrylics. i used a little inks as well. i wanted to keep the overall feel soft and feminine. i really enjoied the way it came out and may jus hang it up in the art studio. the title and words are inspired from Atmosphere's Molly Cool track. i had that record blasting loud last night and as i was painting this, the line "self inspired detachment" stuck out so i decided to title it off that line. i tend to grow an attachment to girls that always seem self-inspired lol. so anyway, there it is, hope you dig.
