T9X.

so yesterday i posted an illustration i did of Tech N9ne on Melodic Measures, my weekly music-inspired art blog, only to realize i flipped the IX to XI when i created it. i didn't catch it initially and sat on the illustration for a while. a couple weeks later (yesterday) i decided to post it. i hadn't posted anything new in a while. it was also Tech's born day and the date of his newest release "Welcome To Strangeland". so how fitting the stars lined up for this one. i posted it on Facebook and tagged Tech in it...

i got a lot of heat from fellow Tech fans. lots of "its Tech N9ne, not Tech Eleven", "idiot", and "he's not a real fan". wow. lol. this might upset some people. i, however, embrace my mistakes in the same vein as Tech. and decided not to 'shop it and fix it. i got a TON of praise even with the XI. and thats dope. in fact, last i checked, its @ over 700 Likes. how a mistake equates to not being a "real fan" is just one of those things you have to accept from the diehards.

the point i'm making is just do what is insiede you. embrace who you are, learn from your mistakes, and push on. cuz obviously a lot of people will over look the little things, your flaws & mistakes, and see the bigger picture. such as the passion i put into the piece, even in the small window of time i had to create it. it doesn't make me any less of a fan for fucking up a Roman numeral. in fact, it solidifies my support in him and his messages that i didn't remove the post or "fix" it.
