Diggin'.

Nature's Butcher.
Jus before the recent move I was having a bit of a lull in my art. Namely in my painting and illustrating. I had been heavy in my pursuits of streetwear that the passion for it overtook my passion for painting. Couple that with my lack of desire to do shows in my city, I just wasn't painting or drawing that much anymore. The pieces I did create for the most part stayed with me, unposted and unshared. I did draw and paint, just not at the same rate as before or with the same fire. I kept a few pieces to myself and figured I would find a "right time" to post them. Last night I came across this animal study I did earlier this year. I don't think I ever shared it (as I write this I become unsure haha). I experimented a bit with my brush pen and oil pastels. I wanted to keep it minimal and free, not even using a fully rendered sketch underneath. Mostly brush to paper. It's a style I am looking forward to exploring more, for now we have this tiger. A butcher by it's own right.  Cheers.

Stay Creative,
