My New Book.

last night i read my copy of FOOD ONE's Scum of the Earth Vol. 1 and HOLY CRAP!! this thing is AWESOME!! i was one of the FEW fortunate enough to cop one before he ran out (only 100 made, and i got 98/100!!!). anyway, this thing is SIC. full of awesome illustrations and humor and interviews of artists/musicians...THIS THING IS KRAZEE GOOD.

over tha years ive seen a few of these come and go and always wanted to do my own. however i guess i didn't ever find tha right one to motivate me enough to create my own. THIS one did it. itz so raw and funky and tightly brought together i feel i HAVE to do one now lol. FINALLY. i even just finished the first illustration im gonna include in the book (a tighter illustration of Leena). looks DOPE and so imperfect i've never been happier!! i might even go home and chunk MINIMAL colors or greys on it. i cant wait to pump this out and share with the world!!

as for specifics, im unsure. not sure how many pages or how much ima sell em for (probably just a few bucks to cover shipping costs) but i do know this: i am EGGCITED!! yes i said eggs dammit, i love EGGS!! lol. i am unsure which direction this book will go other than every direction i can cram into the few pages it will be lol. it probably wont be bigger than 5.5" x 8.5", that i know. maybe even quarter page (4.25" x 5.5"). i will keep everyone informed as the details come together over the next few weeks. i am also in tha middle of getting some paintings ready for the next First Friday here in town, but after that ALL my art focus will be here on my zine (and my 95). and after watching Skottie Young's videos of his graphic novel creation, ive decided to keep all the illustrations under wraps until it is done. i agree with his thinking, this will certainly keep me in line and motivate me to finish it!! so be patient please!!--GOOD THINGS ARE COMING!! (to quote Mr. Cheasle haha).

i may post random sketches and stuff just to keep tha page busy, but mostly i will be working to complete this FIRST book of mine and share it with tha world. so stay close, itz about to get KRAZEE up in this piece!!!
