Ventilation.
Every now and again after a long day of work--if we are fortunate that these days are few and far between--we sometimes find ourselves with the need to get it all off our chests. To lay it all out to someone that will listen. Sometimes the gym or music or painting or running just doesn't cut it. That frustration builds with annoying customers, ego trippin' co-workers, and shitty traffic underneath the hot sun. And we find ourselves needing to just let out all the negativity that built up over the work day. I know I had a ton of moments like this in my previous jobs. Fortunately when you can change your thinking and perspective, you find that these frustrations roll off instead of build up throughout your day, and you find those initial outlets
do tend to work when the roll-off doesn't.
But, every now and then, we find the need to just express it verbally. To vent. In these moments it may be easy to view the negative and not so pretty sides of ourselves, however it is in these moments that I find humanity. It is these moments that simply make us human. At one point or another in life, whether aloud to someone or quietly to ourselves, we find ourselves venting. Releasing that build-up of lower vibrational energy and simply...being human. As I took this photo, I immediately saw the painting in my head. I saw beauty in what would normally be seen as a not so attractive moment and wanted to share the simple charm of being human. Don't ask me how my mind works.
Stay Creative,
